Time To Craft For Business
Our Main Classes We Offer
Podcasting 101
Let's get your voice out there! Together we'll create everything needed for a full podcast production from recording your first words, to designing episode graphics, and creating a website for your listeners to visit!
Intro. To Apparel
Have you ever had a fun idea for a t-shirt or hat? In apparel camp, we'll take your design ideas and make them a reality using Canva software and heat presses. This camp gets hot, so parental consent is REQUIRED.
Video Up!
Do you want to create fun videos for social media or for your own passion project? Let me help you learn how to film and edit creatively! By the end of this session, you'll be creating doodle videos, GIFs, and commercial shorts.
What We Do
Who says you must wait until adulthood to become a small business owner? We love to help students build their own small businesses through crafting, videography, and website design! Every student will end their camp session with a personal website and the ability to create a physical product to sell.
Students are provided with a secure space to develop their creative business ideas without the overhead expenses of equipment and material costs. The goal is not to be dependent on The Foundation, but to give students the time necessary to get their idea started.
*Students have access to Creative Gabrielle Foundation's equipment and tools for the duration of the Camp Create OKC session they're enrolled in. The goal is to help students fundraise with their own creative products to be able to purchase their own business equipment - thus becoming a productive small business. Each student is given a bag with the initial materials needed to begin their own small crafting business. Classes are available based on Foundation funding.

A core value of the Creative Gabrielle Foundation is encouraging students to take their creative ideas to market and see their ideas through from start to finish. It is important that children have access to the materials needed to begin small businesses. Every child has the requirement to go to school, but the importance of entrepreneurship is under-emphasized. Not every student is given the opportunity to learn entrepreneurship - to learn how to take a creative idea to market. It’s critical for students to learn the skills necessary to create future opportunities for themselves and their families through business.
The uncertainty of what the future can bring became paramount during the coronavirus pandemic– both for the employed worker and for the entrepreneur. For the entrepreneur, however, the spirit of risk-taking endowed them with a certain ability to weather the storm better equipped because of a reliance on oneself. Supporting students through small business at a young age will equip them with the confidence needed to take their financial future into their own hands -even now while they are young.
